Our humble design

The slain lamb reminds us of our Savior’s fleshly sacrifice on the cross. Our Father sent His only son to be unjustly accused, beaten, and murdered so we may have salvation. In the chaos of our forgetful minds, this we shall never forget. How unworthy are we in our disobedience, pride, and sinful nature to be washed white as snow by the perfect lamb slain?  How unworthy of this everlasting love, yet it has been freely given to us in Christ. Wow! In a broken world we have hope in the Lamb who overcame all sin and death.  In Him we don’t have to search for our identity in the world because we are “the called and chosen and faithful.” (Revelation 17:14 NIV) Faithfully we can go through this life on earth with our eyes set above, knowing Jesus is the victor.  Through our pains, heartaches and anxieties we have hope in the God of our salvation.  The One in heaven seated at the right hand of the Father, the One whom people from every nation, tongue, and tribe will soon all proclaim as King! What a gift of grace to cling to this hope today, tomorrow, and the rest of our days as sojourners in this world longing to worship and serve with all the saints in our Savior’s everlasting kingdom. Together we shall proclaim now and eternally “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” (Revelation 5:12 NIV)
